you might already have them in your pantry!
This is the first-ever recipe whipped up by our founders, Michel and Augustin, back in 2004 in Paris.
It took them awhile to get the recipe just right - and we wanted to share it with YOU!

1/3 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

STEPS
1. Cream the butter and the sugar in a bowl.
No need for a blender - it might actually be easiest to just use your hands!

2. Add the egg. You can use your hands again here, or grab a wooden spoon.
3. Add your flour and salt. The dough is ready when it's smooth and sticks together
and you can make a ball and it stays together.
We also don't want to over work it.
